Seven Fun Things.

Happy 4th of July!

  1. Every Home Needs a Hidden, Narnia-esque Nook

I love a lot of things about this Sag Harbor house (I’m looking at you green-black zellige shower…), but the cozy hidden nook takes the cake!

2. Katherine Corden’s art is my latest obsession.

My sister mentioned that I would like her work, and she was not wrong. I love her use of color and she has an incredible understanding of the human form. I’m debating which print I want to buy to hang in our bedroom. They’re all so beautiful!

3. All I want is a Parent Trap themed party!

Pure genius.

4. A 175 Square Foot Apartment

I found this old Cup of Jo article and it’s just as charming as ever. I’m fascinated that someone can function in just 175 square feet. I could live without a couch, but that small of a kitchen would be a tough pill to swallow.

5. Listening to Carmeon Hamilton on the Design Time podcast.

I’m super excited about her new HGTV show that will be all about making over rental spaces. (Psst: check out her living room makeover!)

The dried apricot mostarda is making me drool.

7. Reading…

A Field Guide to American Houses (Definitely not for the faint of heart. It’s basically a text book about domestic architecture, but I find it fascinating!)
