Seven Fun Things.

Happy Sunday, my friends!

We got back from Ketchikan a few days ago. We had some delays in coming home, so I still feel like I’m recovering a bit. BUT, we had so much fun. Dave is happiest when he’s in Ketchikan and visiting his family. It’s very sweet. It feels good to be home though and get back into our normal rhythm.

Are you ready for some fun reads? Here we go…

  1. A Pacific Northwest island home by Heidi Caillier for a couple of winemakers

Heidi Caillier is my interior design north star. She expertly mixes pattern and color to achieve the perfect amount of interest in a space. This home is no exception. (Architectural Digest)

  2. My sister-in-law published a book of poetry!

Hooray! We are buying like 10, no joke. If you know anyone that loves poetry, it would be a great gift or happy little surprise in the mail.

  3. The 30-year evolution of Lucinda Chambers' London house

Lucinda Chambers is the former Vogue editor and her house is full of treasures. It’s a little eclectic for my personal taste, but I love the infusion of color and vintage. But how fun is the bright yellow clawfoot bathtub?? (House & Garden)

  4. These leggings are my absolute favorite thing I’ve purchased in a long time.

I feel like I can speak with authority on leggings. I am a millennial after all. These are the closest thing I’ve found to a Lululemon Align dupe. They’re stretchy, hold their shape, and are super high-waisted, which I love. And they’re only $32! Buy them and thank me later. (Amazon)

  5. What I would give to renovate this old library

God, I love historic architecture. Wouldn’t it be cool to adapt this into a home?? However, it would require a lot of work (read: money). Too bad I have absolutely no reason to be in Kendallville, Indiana. (Cheap Old Houses)

  6. I LOVE this home in Kazakhstan that’s shared by five women.

THE LIGHT BLUE TRIM? Dead. I love it so much. It feels so fresh, while still being colorful and full of personality. And don’t even get me started on the floors. Black and white marble parallelograms and wood herringbone. They’re classic with a twist, and completely up my alley. (Domino)

  7. Alaska Photo Dump
