Round Up! Ottomans + Stools

Hi, friends! I was actually planning on doing a different round-up, but my husband swayed me! My original plan was to gather different coffee table-type ottomans for a round-up. I was leaning towards getting one for our living room. They seem perfect for babies and kids (not that we are planning on having kids soon) - no hard corners to hit their heads and fun to climb on. So I was shocked when David seemed opposed to the idea…after all, the man is a gigantic kid at heart. His problem with them is that he would get it dirty. Actually his exact words were, “Do you realize how many condiments I put on my hot dogs? I would get food all over it”. Fair enough, I suppose. A solid surface coffee table it is then! I still love coffee table ottomans, but until I can convince David to not load up his hot dogs with condiments they probably aren’t a good fit for our lifestyle. So then I got to thinking, “Maybe I should get a couple accent ottoman stools instead!” They would add a little extra seating and David could still have a regular coffee table. Win-win!

I love this type of small ottoman because they can be used in so many different ways. I love a pair lined up in a living room, or tucked beneath a console table. They look great as a seat for a makeup vanity or a couple scattered in a playroom. You can also use two or four in a grid to create a coffee table situation. The sky is the limit!

I rounded up some of my favorites below. Which is your favorite?
