Seven Fun Things.
Well, my friends, it has been a minute! The last few weeks have been full of home projects, final projects for school and a couple big exams. But school is behind me for awhile…huzzah! I took the few days after my last final to just relax. Nothing but slow strolls, podcasts, painting, cooking, watching TV, reading and napping. It wasn’t easy to go from 100 miles per hour to strictly chilling, but sometimes you just have to force yourself to slow down for a minute. It’s certainly not a skill of mine, but I’m working on it. Check out this podcast that I loved about the 7 Kinds of Rest.
We leave for Dave’s hometown in just over a week, which means it’s crunch time! I love our trips to Ketchikan. This PNW gal misses the rain and the mountains. Anytime I go back to the Northwest it feels like a sigh of relief. Especially considering it’s already so hot and humid here in South Carolina. The views, the weather, the people, all the seafood. There’s nothing better in my opinion.
But this week is full of tasks and activities! I have a loooong to-do list before we leave. I’ve been working on painting all of the trim in our house, and let me tell you, that is no easy task. It’s not difficult, per se, but it is unbelievably time consuming. If you have any new podcast or show recommendations, send them my way! That, along with some fun work things, will keep me out of trouble this week. (Lol, who are we kidding. I’m an introvert in my late-twenties that loves to bake and hang out with my geriatric dog. I’m never in any trouble.)
Anyway, here are a few fun links I stumbled upon this week! Enjoy, my friends!
