Seven Fun Things.
So I thought it might be interesting to do a little {hopefully} weekly roundup of sorts: things that are inspiring me, entertaining articles, items in my cart, artists I’ve discovered lately…basically whatever random things have interested me. Frankly, like 12 people might read these, but oh well it’ll be fun!
PS: If you don’t know, I have a little food blog The Bustling Table, but it has been extremely uncooperative lately. As in, I can’t even access the website lately for some reason. Because of that incredibly annoying fact, I will now begin posting those recipes on this website. I imagine this website to be a sort of hub for all of my interests - namely food and interiors. So stay tuned for good food too!
Obsessed with this Fire Island Stilt House
Off the shore of Long Island, it feels like the more casual, relaxed version of the Hamptons. The glossy white painted floors? Obsessed. The books stacked everywhere? Can’t get enough. The Cherner chairs and pine hutch? Dreamy. The back patio/garden situation? I would happily die there.
2. In my cart
Open kitchen tumblers: Our everyday drinking glasses have taken a beating over the last few years through several moves and a violent dishwasher that would chip the rims. These seem perfect like a perfect replacement: durable, large, simple and reasonably priced.
Smock dress: Southern heat and humidity require dresses that make you feel like you aren’t wearing clothes. Yeah, I said it.
Ice roller for face: Do ice rollers really work? I know an ice cube would probably suffice, but sometimes it’s fun to have a little gadget.
Floral vintage dress: Again with the dresses…
Ilia tinted lip oil: Very curious…Is it sticky? Does it last a longtime?

5. Reading…
Chicken Sisters by KJ Dellantonia. So far it’s enjoyable - very light and easy to read...perfect for summer!
6. Watching…
Mare of Easttown! Ummm, yeah if you haven’t watched this yet GET ON IT. It’s pretty dark, but there’s a reason everyone is obsessed.
